This really struck a cord with me today. Not because I lost something, and then prayed, and it was found. But because I was talking over something with God, trying to decide whether I should do something or not, and asking His guidance in the matter. It was a small issue. But none-the-less it was nagging at me. Doesn't matter what it was about - but God cared enough about my little thing to place it in my hands. Now that's love.
So that made me think about little things. Little things the girls like - an extra cuddle, a soft spoken word, a secret just for them, pancakes instead of oatmeal for breakfast. All these little things add up into a collective big thing - L O V E.
God is in everything we do, just like we are as parent to our kids. Some times my kids will ask "How did you know that?", or "How did you know that's just what I needed?". Why? Because we care 100% about them. We care about everything about them. And we listen and seek and store that information until it is needed at exactly the right time.
It just shows you your impact on your world, or your child's world, or your husband's world...especially when you see God's impact on your own world.
